Wordads review 2017

WordPress as we all know is the biggest platform in the world where users can use to create their website and make it available online. This post is basically on the monetary aspect of wordpress, which is a program brought by wordpress itself for it’s community to enjoy some cash and it’s name is wordads.

Wordads began in 2012 and so far has grown so largely in the world as it gets many investors and hits per month and per year. This platform is mainly available to wordpress.com and wordpress.org users which makes it quite interesting.

Benefits of Wordads

With WordAds, we run ads

on all your pages and share the majority of the revenue with you. With WordPress.com VIP (aimed at enterprise websites), you can run your own ads. WordAds is available for all Jetpack users on the Premium or Professional plan.
Wordads occasionally test other types of ads for brief periods and will update this list if new ones become part of its regular roster in order to give users the best optimization for their site.

The ads tend to be broad national campaigns, rather than targeted local or topical campaigns. We have found that the broad campaigns pay better. That said, visitors from countries outside the US and Europe will often see targeted local ads.

Can I choose which ads will run?

While you have some control over the display of your ads via My Sites > WordAds > Settings, picking certain advertisers is not currently an option. We do our best to maintain the highest standards for ads we display through WordAds. We have the ability to block specific ads network-wide, so if you see an ad featuring inappropriate content (like sex, drugs, or violence), please make a screenshot and right-click the ad to copy the URL it’s linked to. Don’t click the ad directly, as it will probably redirect to a different URL. Once you have this information, please feel free to contact us and we’ll investigate the issue.

Can I have fewer ads per page, more ads per page, or different placement of the ads?

Wordads knows that individual publishers and bloggers would prefer different ad placements. We’re unable to offer more customization options, however, since we must ensure that each and every one of our themes (there are hundreds on WordPress.com) can accommodate ads.
What do the ads look like in other countries?
While the ad placements are the same globally, some countries have their own advertisers. This means that only the ads themselves differ.

Earnings & payment

AIt can vary month to month, but generally it to have earnings posted around the end of the month following the month in which they were earned (so January earnings are generally posted around the end of February).
Where can I see my earnings?
Once your earnings have been posted, you’ll be able to see them via the Earningstab at My Sites > WordAds.

Can I have more information about my earnings?

Generally, you’re paid per impression (when the ad is seen by a visitor), not by click. That means the more visits you get, and the more each visitor uses your site, the more you’ll earn.
What you earn can vary greatly per site, depending on the following factors:
The amount of traffic.Where the majority of the traffic is coming from. (North American ad placements currently pay out at a much greater level than ads from other regions.)How many visitors are using ad blockers. The actual ads that are displayed.
How and when do I get paid?
WordAds pays monthly via PayPal. Payments are sent around the last day of the following month. If you earned less than $100 in a given month, your earnings will carry over to the next month instead.

What is the minimum traffic requirement?

A site generally needs thousands of pageviews each month to earn meaningful revenue, but ideally this is best known by wordads.
Why do I need a custom domain name?
A: We are unable to provide WordAds for sites with the default free [example].wordpress.com URL, so you’ll need to either register a new domain name or map an existing domain name to your WordPress.com blog of choice.

What do I need to do to launch WordAds?

After you have filled out our application and met the minimum traffic requirement, your site will be reviewed to make sure it complies with the publisher standards. We will then launch WordAds and notify you via your account email address.

Limitations of wordads

  1. Not everyone can register on wordads unless you have a wordpress site.
  2. You may be disapprove due to insufficient traffic.
  3. A lot of impression is really needed to earn a lot from wordads.
  4. Users do not have control over the ads.
    Advantage of Wordads over Adsense.

The basic edge wordads have is that all its ads are sponsored by companies like Adsense, criteo, media.net, and many top companies. So you can be sure and relax that ads will always be running continuously on your website or blog .
